![]() ![]() Individuals who apply for parking permits acknowledge the authority of Yale Parking to regulate parking at the University and by signing the application, affirm that they will act in compliance with the published rules and regulations.Įach person who parks in a University parking lot agrees that neither Yale University nor any of its officers or employees is responsible for injury to persons, nor for theft of, nor damage to vehicles or their contents while on University property.ĭuring snow emergency conditions, the University may move all vehicles in the lots. The University reserves the right to suspend parking privileges at any time, and special situations may involve temporary re-assignment. While the parking privilege for permit holders can normally be protected, it cannot be guaranteed. Parkers using these lots for this purpose must vacate the lot by 3:00 a.m. A list of these locations can be found on the Parking Locations page. Yale does allow public parking in designated lots after business hours, weekends, and holidays. Permit holders must contact the parking office for prior approval and stay may not exceed three (3) days. Yale permit holders may park in their assigned lots after business hours. Yale’s parking system is designed to protect the parking privileges of its permit holders during normal working hours, while making the parking lots generally available to members of the New Haven community and visitors at other times.
